What is the difference between Hemp oil and CBD Oil?

When I give people, who have never tried CBD (Cannabidiol) before, a link to my website, they often send me a link to cheaper Hemp oil (usually on Amazon or eBay) and ask why mine is so much more expensive/what the difference is. Regular CBD users know the simple answer...

Mine (well CTFO's) actually contains CBD.

Standard Hemp oil is made by crushing hemp seeds. Hemp seeds do not contain CBD, so there is no CBD in standard Hemp oil.

Hemp leaves and stalks do not contain CBD either, but they do contain CBDa (Cannabidiolic acid), which is converted to CBD by decarboxylation. This process takes time and money, which is why Hemp derived CBD oil costs more than Hemp oil.

Amazon and eBay do not sell, or allow their sellers to sell, CBD oil. However, if you search for CBD on either website, hemp oils will come up in the search results. This is not CBD oil. Whilst hemp oil may have health benefits, it is not CBD oil, so don't buy it, if you are trying to get the benefits of CBD oil.
